Hey everyone! My name is Loice Hayes and I'm the owner of Celebrations to Remember. Thank you so much for joining me on here!
The best memories that I have were surrounded by the people that I love! Growing up as the youngest of five, my parents were always extremely busy with the hustle and bustle of life. One thing that they ALWAYS did was make us feel extra special on our birthdays. I remember we always got to choose our theme, who we wanted to invite, and where we wanted to have it. When I was 10, I got to plan my birthday all on my own! (After all, double digits is a HUGE deal!)
I remember sitting down with my mom and sisters and requesting a pool party. We lived in California at the time, so it was nice and warm
in March. I wanted it to be pink and blue (my two favorite colors) so we went to Party City and let me tell you, our cart was filled to the brim with pink and blue EVERYTHING! I just remember my eyes lighting up when I decorated it all and had my friends over. Ever since that moment, I've planned every single birthday for my extended family. I've also planned every baby shower, anniversary, get together, and holiday. I was always the one that they called for help and I loved it!
I graduated from high school and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to pursue my degree in Event Management. I went to school for two years until I found a position in a retail company with amazing growth opportunities. I kept planning events for family and friends while I pursued my retail career. Eventually I decided that the school route wasn’t for me but was able to retain a lot of information from those two years that I have carried with me. I also have a certificate from Event Trix for completing their Event and Hospitality Management course. Fast forward to today, I am joyfully married to my husband of 8 years. We have two beautiful baby girls that love when I bring their birthday dreams to fruition!
